About the book: In this book Imam Tirmidhi has recorded everything about the Prophet Muhammed (sallallahu ‘Alayi wa salam) on the authority of the Companions, and collected 397 hadiths which are divided into 55 chapters, drawing a pen picture of the  physical features, manners and characteristics of Rasulallahi (sallallahu ‘Alayi wa salam).

About the series: Insha’Allah, we hope to go through 40 of these 397 hadiths, covering almost every chapter of the book, and choosing the hadiths that have been rated as Saheeh by scholars of Hadith.

1-to taste the sweetness of Iman (faith) as is mentioned in this hadith:

( رواه البخاري و مسلم (…ثلاث من كن فيه وجد حلاوة الإيمان : أن يكون الله ورسوله أحب إليه مما سواهما

“There are three characteristics, whoever has them finds the sweetness of Iman: that Allaah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anybody else..” Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim

2- to defend his honor, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa salam

3- to help other Muslims recognize the lofty status of Rasulallah sallallahu ‘alayi wa salam

4- to take these hadiths as a motto in our every day lives, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala says in Al-Quran:

لقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجوا الله و اليوم الآخر و ذكر الله كثيراً) سورة الأحزاب)

(Indeed in the Messenger of Allaah you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in Meeting with Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.) Surah Al-Ahzab, ayah 21
